Senior Housing Services Expands Southeast Platform with New Atlanta Office Led by Will Childs
The Atlanta office expands SHS's investment sales and transaction advisory presence across the Southeast while strengthening the firm's ability to serve clients nationally.

Senior Housing Services announced the expansion of its Southeastern senior housing and care brokerage platform with the addition of Atlanta-based senior housing professional Will Childs. From Atlanta, Childs will focus on investment sales, transaction strategy and related advisory services for owners, operators, investors, lenders and developers throughout the Southeast and beyond.
The Atlanta office gives SHS a local presence in one of the region's principal centers for senior housing ownership, operations, development, healthcare, banking and investment. It also complements the firm's Charlotte headquarters and established national client relationships.
Childs brings more than two decades of commercial real estate experience, with a dedicated seniors housing and healthcare focus since 2008. His background spans brokerage, valuation, market analysis, feasibility, acquisition due diligence and transaction execution across independent living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing and continuing care retirement communities.
Before joining SHS, Childs served as a Senior Director in JLL's national seniors housing and healthcare practice and previously was a Partner and Executive Vice President at OHC Advisors. Earlier in his career, he worked with Cushman & Wakefield's Capital Markets Healthcare Practice Group.
“An Atlanta office gives us a stronger base from which to serve owners and operators throughout the Southeast.”
“Senior housing transactions have become more complicated, and clients increasingly need an advisor who can connect the operating story, the real estate, the capital structure and the market evidence.”
